One of Jehan's best friends--much to the surprise of the younger boy. Jehan positively adores the son of Hades and will kill anyone who hurts him or thinks he has no place in camp.
In short, Jehan is falling fast for the Italian demigod and he has no idea. He helped Nico after his confession to Percy, he delivers food to his cabin so he knows the boy is eating, he has poetry about him...really, the only reason he hasn't realized what's happening yet is Zane still weighs heavily on his mind
One of Jehan's best friends. He latched on to Enjolras when he arrived at camp because, like Jehan, Enjolras was from France and it was familiarity without being from the Aphrodite cabin. He supports Enjolras is all his protests, including the infamous Lunchacade that ended with power swaps. He'll continue to support him as well, regardless of the punishments.
Though if he has to, he'll force Enjolras to apologize to any offended gods. Particularly Hera.
Another of Jehan's closest friends. Courfeyrac frequently drives Jehan a little batty, what with the flirting and everything, but he does love the other boy. They're now regularly seen kissing each other, but it doesn't mean much. They're just kissing buddies.
The Iris counselor, Gabe and Jehan wound up kissing during the Aphrodisa celebration, which was weird for Jehan. Gabe's nice enough but usually not his type. They're really close friends now, though, and Gabriel has Jehan's permission to adopt his sisters.
A handsome Venus boy that flirted with Jehan when they first met. Jehan's rather smitten (to the point that he considers Zane his first love), as Zane is gorgeous and friendly and a very good kisser. He won't act on that, since he knows how Aphrodite kids can be and is wary about Venus kids. It was a good thing too, as it turned out Zane was a spy for the Red Room. Jehan is heartbroken and it'll be some time before he's recovered.
Jehan's little half sister and the cutest girl in the camp. He, quite frankly, adores Naomi and is taking extra care to make sure that Naomi is safe. He's going to commission a magical item that tells her when she's about to do a Dumb Thing, though, since Naomi is fond of Dumb Things. Like trying to pet Lupa. Sigh.
Jehan's friend in the Hephaestus cabin. During the retaliation for the Lunchacade, Jehan was given Dany's powers and her dragons. She was the only person other than Enjolras he spoke to during that fiasco, largely because he hadn't kissed her and he had her pets. They're also very good friends and Dany has offered to let Jehan ride one Rhaegal when he's big enough. He's ecstatic.
Alcuin's the Aphrodite's counselor. Jehan likes the other boy, finding him wonderfully kind and pleasant to talk to. Jehan was there when Alcuin lost his mentor, Anafiel Delaunay, and is doing his best to support and comfort him. It's hard, though, especially since Alcuin seems hellbent on destroying the Red Room now and Jehan is a little wary and wants to plan things out first.
No, we don't know how it happened either. Jehan's still a bit scared of the girl, but apparently concern and talking about stupid fathers lead to friendship after three years of general "meh"-ness. It's weird.
Still weird, by the way, even months later. But Ep was there when Zane broke Jehan's heart and she's pretty okay.
John and Jehan knew each other before through Naomi, and Jehan kind of ships his sister and the son of Jupiter. When he and John landed in the same room during the Red Room fiasco, they worked together pretty well. John was exactly what Jehan needed when Zane broke his heart, too. He can't thank John enough for that. He did his best to control John when he found out his father was dead, but it wasn't easy. Alcuin had to help.
Jehan first met Ven when the other was running from nymphs. He suggested saying he was gay, but Ven wasn't amused. Later, Ven approached him after the blowup with Callie to try and apologize and explain. They both agreed that something needed to be done to prevent this sort of thing in the future.
The one person Jehan cannot stand. She was rude and insulting when the met, and Callie pushed Jehan to lose his temper. It was the first time he'd done it in camp, too, and it wasn't fun at all.
Hephaistion wasn't one of Jehan's close friends before, but the boy's return to camp has brought them a bit closer together. Hephaistion supported him when he snapped at Callie and his general kindness (and flirting) has made him dear to Jehan in a few short weeks. He's also really smart, and it's fun to pick his brain and get him to teach Jehan proper Greek.
